Thorfinn grew up listening to tales of sailors who voyaged across the ocean to find Vinland, a warm land of peace. But raised in Viking war bands by Askeladd, the mercenary who slew his father, Thorfinn must evolve from an instrument of slaughter into a true warrior who has no enemies.
